Former Arsenal player Matteo Guendouzi signs for Lazio
Former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has officially joined Serie A side Lazio.
Lazio confirmed this in a video post via its X account on Wednesday.
The Italian club also posted a photo of Guendouzi’s arrival.
After joining the club, Guendouzi said in the video: “Hi Lazio fans, I am very happy to be here. I will give everything for this amazing club, and I am very happy to be here. Thank you guys.”
Guendouzi joined Marseille from Arsenal in 2022 after spending the 2020/21 season on loan at Hertha Berlin. He made 36 appearances for Marseille in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing three assists2. He also helped Marseille qualify for the Europa League by finishing fifth in Ligue 1
