A Uber driver got more than what he bargained for on Thursday when he drove to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja to pick a client.

The yet-to-be-identified man was beaten with an inch of his life, after members of the Viko Airport Taxi, Abuja accosted him for trying to pick a passenger at the airport.

Wuzup Naija gathered that the Viko members register with Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria yearly, hence their hostility towards other drivers.
According to reports, everything has been done to prevent situations like this, but the airport authorities have not done anything to address it.
The victim was later rushed to a hospital where is his currently recuperating.
