A young man, supposed to be in his early thirties(30s), by the name Samuel Audu, is reported to have been hacked to death by a machete-wielding yet-to-be identified man at Low-Cost, Akwanga Council Area of Nasarawa State.

Though still remote what the true angle to his death is, according to some unverified reports, Sam Audu who recently celebrated his Passing Out Parade from the NYSC, was trying to prevent a burglar who was attempting to steal some bags of cement kept in a house he was hired to fix Plaster of Paris (POP) Ceiling before the hoodlum turned against him, deeply macheting him, leading to an endless bleeding. The ugly incident was said to have taken place between 8-9pm yesterday, Thursday, December 20th, 2018.

A man who wouldn’t want his name mentioned because he wasn’t permitted to speak to the press, said the police in Akwanga has since been briefed about the incident, whereas the deceased body has been deposited in a mortuary in one of the hospitals in the Council Area.
