Five killed in Lagos crash on way from vigil
No fewer than five persons lost their lives in the early hours of Saturday after a truck fell on a bus in the Ojota area of Lagos.
It was learnt that the occupants of the bus were church goers returning from a monthly vigil.
The incident happened around 4am.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and policemen were said to have responded to the incident.
“Five persons died while three passengers have been rescued and taken to a hospital,” an emergency official said.
