Fireboy DML’s ‘Peru’ bags platinum certification in UK
Nigerian singer, songwriter and performer, Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known by the stage name Fireboy DML, has hit another global milestone in his career.
The afrobeat star’s smash tune “Peru’ which features Grammy-award winning singer and instrumentalist, Ed Sheeran, has gone platinum in the United Kingdom.
The song, which is now a British certified platinum single, has sold over 600,000 units in the United Kingdom.
Taking to his Instagram, the YBNL frontline act announced the new feat and urged his fans to keep supporting him.
He said, “Platinum! big love and appreciation to everyone involved in this success. there’s always more, let’s keep going!”
