Fayose to FG: Change NYSC corps members’ allowance to N50,000
Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has called on the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government to increase the allowance of members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from N19,000 to N50, 000.
The governor made the call on his twitter handle on Saturday. He noted that the N19,000 allowance is not enough anymore.
He also chided leaders who ride in bulletproof vehicles, saying if they were serving their people, they will protect them from any harm.
See the tweets below.
Let us collectively tell the FG that N19k monthly allowance is no longer enough for Corp members. Let this APC change the allowance to N50k

Leaders are meant to be seen and not to be hidden inside bullet proof vehicle. If your people love you, they will protect you.
