Ex-Oyo Gov Ajimobi’s mother-in-law is dead
The mother-in-law of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, the late Senator Isiaka Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi, has died.
The deceased, Mrs. Victoria Amudoaghan, was the mother of the late governor’s widow, Florence Abiola Ajimobi, reportedly passed on Saturday.
Although the cause of death has not be disclosed, Bolaji Tunji, Special Adviser on Communications to the former governor, confirmed the news on Tuesday.
“Yes. It is true. It is true,” Tunji told Daily Post of the Delta-born Catholic.
The Oyo Central Senatorial District representatiive, Senator Teslim Folarin, also confrimed the news.
Citing a condolence message personally signed by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Local Content, Senator Teslim Folarin, The Nation said the he prayed for the deceased’s eternal rest.
“I commiserate with Her Excellency Chief (Dr.) Florence Ajimobi and other members of Amudoaghan family over the passing of their matriarch,” Senator Folarin said.
