Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, has declared Christian Pulisisc and Thiago Silva fit for Saturday’s clash against Manchester United.

Lampard made this know during a press conference on Friday afternoon ahead of the trip to Old Trafford.

The Blues who drew their last two matches against Southampton and Sevilla are currently 7th with seven points hope to return to winning ways when they face a United side who beat Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain in their last two games.

“Both are fine [Thiago Silva and Pulisic]. We have a pretty clean bill of health other than Kepa who has a shoulder issue and won’t travel to Manchester.

“The only other player out is Billy Gilmour. Cech is not coming [as a player],” he said.

Lampard, however, said that Ziyech is not ready for a match yet, despite being physically fit.

“We need to find ways to give Hakim minutes as best we can,” Lampard said about the Moroccan winger.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he hopes to have captain Harry Maguire, attacker Mason Greenwood and new signing, Edinson Cavani, who is yet to feature for the club since joining as a free agent in the summer.

“Edinson, he wants to tick all of the boxes that he’s gone through in his programme to feel ready to make an impact. I think his last preparation was going to be Friday, and then I’ll have a discussion with him.

“It seemed positive on Thursday with both Mason and Harry Maguire.”

The Reds have had a poor start to the Premier League season having lost to consecutive home games against Crystal Palace and Totteham.

Ole’s men will be hoping to win their first game at home having won two away matches out of four games in the season so far.
