#EndSARS: Man explains why persons making money online are not always fraudsters (video)
A young Nigerian man identified as Star Alezxy Markson on Facebook has taken to the social media platform to make passionate pleas to the government on why the activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS)should be checked.
The young man who said he was once brutally beaten by the SARS for having an Apple Mac computer explained that not everyone who makes money online is into fraud.
He said he is a cryptocurrency dealer and so his work is online but the SARS officers failed to acknowledge that.
He also warned Nigerian bloggers not to misquote him as he is in no way encouraging fraud.
He wrote: “Don’t misquote me Nigerian bloggers! Nigerian youths can do better with the new age technology. Give us a Chance and we surprise you. [I] Am a BITCOIN Crypto-Currency Investor. If you don’t understand come and I will lecture you.”
Many people who commented on the video post commended the man for speaking out. Some others expressed their skepticism despite his explanation while others warned him to be careful even in his explantion.
