Edo election: Late arrival of election materials experienced in Edo South
Complaints of late arrival of election materials have been recorded in parts of Edo South Senatorial District in the ongoing Edo State governorship election.
Voter who turned up early in Arousa Primary School, Ehor, the administrative head of Uhunwuode Local Government Area, expressed disappointment at the late arrival of INEC officials.
At about 8.40 a.m, the officials arrived and set up the three polling unit in the school.
In communities like Ujama and Ukpogu, materials were still expected while the a community leader, Ojie Ogedemgbe, believed that the errors will be corrected.
“You know things like this are not unusual in human efforts. Let us hope that now that the materials are here, everything will go on smoothly,” he said.
