Don Jazzy remembers Stella Adadevoh six years after her death
Music producer Don Jazzy has taken to his Twitter handle to pen a tribute to Dr Stella Adadevoh, the Nigeria Doctor who died from Ebola six years ago.
Dr Ameyo Stella Adadevoh was the Lead Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist who was able to diagnose and contain Nigeria’s first-ever Ebola patient in July 2014. She contracted Ebola and died alongside three of her colleagues.
Don Jazzy to honour her, described the late doctor as courageous and stressed that her role in preventing the catastrophic spread of ebola in Nigeria will always be remembered.
“We lost one of Nigeria’s best and courageous physicians, Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, on this day in 2014. She was one of the front line doctors who helped curb the spread of the Ebola epidemic in Nigeria. The life-endangering roles she played will always be remembered. R.I.P Heroine,” he wrote.
