D-Black signs deal SONY/ATV
Ghanaian multiple award-winning hip-hop and afrobeat musician, Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known by his stage name D-Black, has inked a global deal with SONY/ATV plus his producers at his Black Avenue Musik.
The rapper announced the big move via his social media handles and indicated that it’s a win for the entire country.
According to him, he stated that he wants to put Ghana music on the forefront of the Afrobeat global wave and this is just the first step with Sony /ATV.
In his announcement post, he explained he is in the process to finalize a label deal for all his Black Avenue Musik Artiste, producers and partners with Sony/ ATV.
“I’m excited to learn more and empower myself and my team to be a force to reckon with not only as an artiste but am music business executive and as an African label,” He added
