Davido, Burna Boy, Asake, Olamide, Ayra Starr, and Fireboy have each earned recognition in various categories of the prestigious 2024 Grammy Awards

Davido received three nominations. His latest album, “Timeless,” earned him a spot in the highly coveted Best Global Album category.

Additionally, his track “Unavailable” has been nominated for Best African Performance, and “Feel” is vying for the title of Best Global Music Performance.

Expressing his elation, Davido took to Twitter, exclaiming, “3 nominations at the Grammys!! Delay is not Denial!! 🏆🌎” This marks a historic moment for the artist as it is the first time he has received three Grammy nominations in a single year.

Other Nigerian artistes like Ayra Starr, got nominations for ‘Rush’, Asake for ‘Amapiano’, featuring Olamid, and Burna Boy for ‘City Boy’.

Also, Tems got a nomination alongside Rihanna for Best Song Written For Visual Media, for their Oscar-nominated single ‘Lift Me Up.’

Fireboy joins the Grammy ranks with his inaugural nomination. He is recognized for his contributions to Jon Baptiste’s ‘World Music Radio’, a nominee for the coveted Album of the Year category.
