Cripple who was brutalised by soldiers gets help from charity organisation (video)
A charitable organisation has provided help for the disabled man who was brutalised by soldiers in Anambra State on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Military men had been captured on video flogging the crippled man after they dragged him off his wheelchair. One of the soldiers was holding an AK 47 gun in his left hand while he used his right hand to flog the crippled man. It was reported that the man’s only offence was that he was wearing a camouflage trouser.
On Thursday, the Nigerian Army announced that it had identified and arrested the two soldiers who brutalised the man in New Market Road, Onitsha, Anambra State.
However, Kokun Foundation, a charitable organisation — whose aim is to put food in table of everyone who struggle with hunger — posted photos and videos of the man being showered with gifts of money, food and clothes that were not camouflages.
The organisation promised to do more as a man who said he is the disabled man’s brother expressed appreciation to the foundation.
