Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Thursday led powerful lawmakers to Lokoja, Kogi State to commiserate with the wives and family members of the late Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Umar Buba Jibril.

This was made known in pictures shared on the Twitter handle of Saraki a few hours ago.

The Senate President while in the state also met with the Deputy Governor, Hon. Simon Achuba to condole with the state over the loss of the late lawmaker.

The late Jibril represented Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency in the House and was a one time speaker of the state’s Assembly.

Jibril who was a three-time member of the house died in the early hours of Friday, March 30 in Abuja. He was 58-year-old.
