Cocoa trader allegedly commits suicide in Osun
Pandemonium in Oke-Ola area, Gbongan, Ayedaade Local Government, Osun State, weekend, as a wealthy cocoa dealer, Olawale Festus, reportedly committed suicide in his cocoa store.
The 43-year-old, Olawale’s lifeless body was discovered on Friday night while dangling on the noose in his coco store at Gbongan.
According to DAILY POST, the father of four committed suicide after returning from an outing on Friday.
Nobody could ascertain the motive behind his action.
The Public Relations Officer of the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.
Opalola disclosed that some operatives had visited the scene and confirmed that the deceased hung himself in his cocoa shop and died.
