Drinkwater, Barkley, Bakatoko told to leave Chelsea

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has reportedly told the trio of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Danny Drinkwater and Ross Barkley to organise new clubs this month, according to The Athletic.

As the Premier League transfer window shuts on August 31, reports revealed that the London club has stripped the trio cost Chelsea a combined total of £90m of their squad numbers.

This confirms that the trio is not in the plans of the German tactician who started his first full campaign at Stamford Bridge with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

This summer, Chelsea have made a major addition, with Romelu Lukaku returning in a club-record £97.5million deal.

The Blues have also been strongly linked with Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde in a deal potentially worth around £70m.

Striker, Tammy Abraham is on the verge of a move to AS Roma where he’d team up with Chelsea’s former boss, Jose Mourinho.
