Comedian Dee One has come under heavy criticisms for stating that Nigerians don’t deserve 24-Hour electricity for survival.

The ex-Big Brother Naija housemate made the “careless assertations” in a video shared on his Instagram page.

However many IG users, fans and non-fans were quick to lambaste and call him out.

Many schooled the comedian on the importance of electricity for business, technology, entrepreneurship, medical facilities and the likes.

In the video, Dee One said that Nigerians don’t need constant electricity, adding that too much electricity leads to wastage.

He further said that “the Federal Government is teaching us time management because if they give us light for 2 hours during the day, we will waste it and it makes sense to me.”
