Capitol riot puts Trump in ‘dustbin of history’- American actor, George Clooney

Famous American actor, George Clooney, has said that the recent invasion of the Capitol by pro-Trump supporters has put the name of Donald Trump, president of the United States of America, in the ‘dustbin of history.’
President Trump’s supporters laid siege to the Capitol recently where a joint session of Congress gathered to count the vote of the Electoral College to certify Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election.
Clooney made this statement during an upcoming episode of KCRW’s The Business weekly podcast, Hollywoodreporter.com states.
Referencing the way pro-Trump supporters conducted themselves at the scene, Clooney said, “It’s devastating to watch the people’s house being desecrated in that way. But it is also a tremendous overreach in a way — everybody kept waiting for, what’s the one thing, the straw that breaks the camel’s back and it just seemed like that line just kept getting moved and moved and moved and outrage didn’t even matter anymore, even to the point of calling the Secretary of State in Georgia and pressuring him. None of that seemed to matter. This mattered.”
The actor went on to emphasize, “This puts Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka, all of them, into the dustbin of history. That name will now forever be associated with insurrection.”
