Nigerian Afropop icon Burna Boy has unveiled his highly anticipated 7th studio album, “I Told Them…”. The 15-track set featuring GZA, RZA, 21 Savage, Seyi Vibes, and others dropped Friday via Atlantic Records, Spaceship, and Bad Habit.
Burna Boy’s management calls the introspective album a pivotal milestone showcasing the Grammy winner’s artistic growth.
“Burna’s influence extends far beyond Nigeria, resonating widely across continents,” the statement read. The management also expressed confidence the album will further cement the 31-year-old’s status as a global music trailblazer.
Burna Boy describes the 15-track album as an immersive experience and reflects on his personal evolution through his signature blend of Afro-fusion, reggae, and rap.
The “Last Last” crooner continues staking his claim as one of Africa’s most influential contemporary artists with his deeply personal latest offering.
