NBA star, Lebron James has said that the black woman is the most disrespected person in the world.

The Los Angeles Lakers player made the statement in reaction to a decision by a grand jury on the death of Breonna Taylor.

Taylor, a black medical worker was shot and killed in March by Louisville police officers.

One of the officers, Brett Hankinson, who has been indicted by the jury now faces three felony counts of first-degree wanton endangerment. The officers involved in the shooting were not indicted.

“I’ve been lost for words today! I’m devastated, hurt, sad, mad! We want Justice for Breonna yet justice was met for her neighbours apartment walls and not her beautiful life. Was I surprised at the verdict? Absolutely not but damnit I was & still am hurt and heavy-hearted! I send,” Lebron James tweeted.

He added:

“The most DISRESPECTED person on earth is THE BLACK WOMAN! I promise you I’ll do my best to change this as much as I can and even more!! LOVE to you QUEENS all over this country and beyond!”
