Charismatic preacher, Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo, has dismissed widespread reports claiming she recently graduated from the Nigerian Law School, describing the information as inaccurate.

The 64-year-old cleric became the focus of online discussions following the 2026 Call to Bar ceremonies after several social media posts and reports alleged that she had successfully completed the law school programme.

Reacting to the claims, her management team issued a statement on her Instagram page, expressing appreciation to those celebrating her educational pursuit but clarifying that the reports were untrue.

“We sincerely appreciate the blogger for celebrating and highlighting Bishop Olufunke Felix-Adejumo’s educational journey. Your support and admiration are truly valued,” the statement reads.

“However, we wish to respectfully clarify that the circulated report claiming that Bishop Olufunke Felix-Adejumo has completed the Nigerian Law School at the age of 63 is incorrect.

“Bishop Olufunke Felix-Adejumo has not graduated from the Nigerian Law School, nor has she completed her undergraduate law programme.”

The statement, signed by the administrator of the Funke Felix-Adejumo Matrix Centre, a management and coaching firm established by the bishop, explained that the photograph circulating alongside the reports was taken during her matriculation ceremony rather than a graduation event.

“The photo she recently shared on her social media platforms was a throwback to her matriculation ceremony, not a graduation or completion ceremony,” it added.

The management further noted that Bishop Felix-Adejumo is still studying law and remains fully committed to completing her academic programme. It also urged members of the public to verify information before sharing it to help curb the spread of misinformation.
