Media personality, Noble Igwe, has come under fire after he asserted that any stew cooked below N100,000 is not suitable for proper meal.

His statement comes after a tweep identified as @Ore_akiinde had said N10,000 can’t comfortably cook a pot of stew ‘from the scratch’ these days.

In her words; “10k can’t comfortably cook a pot of stew from the scratch these days. Crazy

“Remember I said from the scratch, Chicken 4k, Pepper and tomatoes 2k, Onions N500, 1 litre of oil 2k, Spices(garlic/ginger/curry/etc) N500, Gas? Transport to the market? Tomato paste?”

Weighing into the conversation, Noble Igwe in a tweet on Tuesday, said; “100k cannot even cook luxury stew, you won’t even notice 10k meat in a pot of stew.

“For a proper stew, you need to air fry the onions and that electricity will cost more than 10k.

“Any stew below 100k is not stew enough”.
