Atiku trounces Buhari in Delta, Nwaobosi, Elumelu win
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has defeated the incumbent President and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammadu Buhari, in the results from 13 local government areas of Delta State.
While Atiku scored 232,522 in the councils declared so far, Buhari polled 72,723.
Therefore, Atiku has maintained the lead in 12 out of the 13 LGAs so far released by the Returning Officer, Prof. Seth Jaja, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Otuoke.
