The ongoing beef between Nigerian music stars Burna Boy and Brymo has taken a new turn as Burna Boy throws shade at Brymo’s music style.

Burna Boy’s latest jab at Brymo comes after Brymo’s recent comments during an interview where he claimed Burna Boy’s freestyle was not original and that Burna Boy doesn’t measure up to his standard.

In response to Brymo’s remarks, Burna Boy took to social media to criticize Brymo’s music style, particularly his use of Yoruba proverbs. Burna Boy remarked that Brymo’s music with Yoruba proverbs falls short compared to the legendary Fuji icons King Wasiu Ayinde and King Saheed Osupa.

His words “At this point they do and say Anything to get at the KING. werey dey sing Yoruba proverb music for us When K1 and Saheed Osupa dem still dey carry us trabaye.”

The beef between Burna Boy and Brymo started when Brymo accused Burna Boy of lifting part of his unreleased album ‘Macabre’ for his Grammy-nominated hit single ‘City Boy.’ Burna Boy responded with a diss freestyle, implying that Brymo had “fallen off.”

In a recent interview, Brymo also asserted himself as the finest vocalist on the continent, boasting about his music abilities and the success of his songs.
