Angelique Kidjo dedicates Grammy to Burna Boy, gives powerful acceptance speech (Video)
Nigerian Afrobeat star, Burna Boy lost the 2020 Grammy Award for Best World Music Album to legendary musician Angelique Kidjo.
This would be the fourth time Kidjo would be winning the award.
This time, however, she wins with her Album titled Celia.
Angelique Kidjo won the coveted award ahead of Burna Boy, Nathalie Joachim, Altin Gun and Bokante.
In her powerful acceptance speech, Angelique Kidjo dedicated the award to Burna Boy as one of the few emerging African superstars taking the world by storm.
