Ambitious woman married to successful African man must work twice as hard to be acknowledged – Mary Remmy Njoku
Nollywood actress and movie executive, Mary Remmy Njoku has taken to Instagram to share what it’s like being an ambitious woman in Africa.
The ROK TV boss said women in Africa have to work twice as hard to be acknowledged.
The black beauty went on to reveal that, as a woman in a male-dominated field, she has to be extraordinary, she mostly has to scream twice as loud to be heard.
She wrote:
“As an ambitious woman who is married to an ambitious and successful man in Africa, I have to work twice as hard to be acknowledged, jump twice as high to be seen and scream twice as loud to be heard. I guess I am just getting started.”
