Suicide

A Nigerian activist, Meziem Janet is of the opinion that people should be able to commit suicide whenever they want to.

According to Meziem Janet who believes long life would be boring, he would love to die around the age of 35.

He wrote:

“I’ll die at 30-35. I am currently 21. Would actually be 21 by Saturday. Safe to say I roughly have 9-14 more years to live.

“We don’t talk about death as often as we should. Long-life would be boring. Meh.

“People should be able to commit suicide whenever they want to.

“I think it’s mostly selfishness that makes us wanna stop someone from committing suicide. And by suicide, I am referring to people who are battling existential crisis or the illness that is life. That’s why we tell them “Think about how you’d hurt me or your family or loved ones”

“We make their reason to live about us because we think that we are enough reason for them to live. Because we are not prepared to mourn someone. Because we don’t want to feel hurt. Because we’re selfish.

“It was never about them. It was always about us. Fucking selfish morons.

“People should be able to commit suicide whenever they want to. They’re not necessarily dying. @deadmorley said “Death is not finite” and I agree. They’re not dead dead. They only exited life.”
