Following the death of Nollywood actor John Paul Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, the Actor Guild of Nigeria has suspended all movie scenes involving boat rides.
This development is coming up as a result of the death of Junior Pope, who lost his life in a boat mishap while shooting a film produced by Adamma Luke.
WuzupNigeria had reported that the actor lost his life a few minutes after he posted a video of him shooting on water.
In the statement signed by the National President, Dr Ejezie Emeka Rollas MON, it stated that the deceased other and four other crew members died from the boat mishap that happened at the water side of River Niger point in Asaba.
The statement further stated that “all films that involve riverine areas and boat riding should be suspended indefinitely.
“No shoot on all locations nationwide on Thursday 11th of April, 2024.
“The film titled “Another side of life is suspended indefinitely.
“No actor is allowed to work with Adamma Luke as a producer till further notice.
The president further offered words of condolences to the departed persons.
