Actor Yomi Black lambastes Toke Makinwa
Nollywood filmmaker and actor, Abayomi Aderibigbe, better known as Yomi Black, has lambasted Toke Makinwa for slamming Nigerians complimenting Cardi B over some acts she pulled off in Nigeria.
Toke Makinwa tackled Nigerians who attack their celebrities for being a ‘bad role model, disgrace and morally corrupt’ for the same lifestyle they hailed Cardi B for.
However reacting to comment credited to Toke Makinwa, Yomi Black reposted an Instagram post by Digital marketer Soji Ogunnaike who dared the media personality to openly show how she can afford her lifestyle.
Pointing out that Cardi B has never denied being a stripper, Soji also told Toke Makinwa not to come up with the “excuse” of being an actress or an OAP because “they know how much she earns.”
The post by Soji Ogunnaike reads
“You see why people love someone like Cardi B? She owns her shit, just like the Kardashians. You get what you expect. She hasn’t denied being a stripper or enjoying showing her body. She doesn’t go around forming motivational speaker and quoting Bible passages on social media like some Saint.
“Dear Toke, I dare you to openly show how you can afford your lifestyle. And don’t come with shit like you’re an actress or OAP because we all know how much both earn. Also don’t spew shit about endorsement deals because we are in marketing communications and know how much these deals are worth.
“This has got to be the most hypocritical post of 2019.”
