Abba Kyari is alive, says Fani-Kayode
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to the president, Maj. Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd), is alive and well.
Rumours of Kyari’s death was spread yesterday after controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, stated that a high ranking member of the Buhari cabinet is dead.
The tweet which she shared had coronavirus hashtags, leading many to assume she might be referring to Kyari who tested positive for coronavirus.
This has now been debunked by Femi Fani-Kayode who slammed those behind the rumour.
He tweeted:
“It is not true that Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to Buhari, is dead. Those that are behind that rumour are vicious and heartless.
@I remain opposed to the Buhari administration, but to wish or proclaim someone dead simply because you disagree with him politically is unacceptable”.
