A minister who failed at exporting common yam shouldn’t lament over pizza importation, Sega lambastes Audu Ogbeh

Published

Popular rights activist, Segun Awosanya – Sega, has frowned at Nigeria’s minister of agriculture, Audu Ogbeh’s call that government needs to check the activities of Nigerians who allegedly import pizza from London via British Airways airline.

The Minister had made the claim on Wednesday while defending his ministry’s 2019 budget before the Senate  committee on agriculture.

Sharing his reaction via his Twitter handle @segalink, the #EndSARS campaigner said he couldn’t understand the agitation of a Minister who failed at exporting common yam successfully complaining bitterly about the freedom of citizens to do as they please.

He wrote:

“When you exhume Zombie Politicians from the graves of the forgotten realm to come & rule again, all they can do is kill everything that lives. I just listened to the ailing Minister of Agriculture now quarrelling over Pizza orders from London as though public funds were stolen.

“I really can’t understand the agitation of a Minister who failed at exporting common yam successfully complaining bitterly about the freedom of citizens to do as they please. So what I order Sushi from Japan? Is it your order? Do you control our lives? Are we your Cattle?!

“In the copious senility, decrepitude & infirmity of this character he went further to state that “We (that is Govt) have to move fast to check Nigerians ordering pizza from London via cell phones” Can someone ask him what he hopes their tyrannical Govt will ban. Phones?!

“This is the same geriatric advocating tenaciously to legalize the importation of Brazilian Grass for Cattle now human beings can’t order ordinary pizza from anywhere they please? Did anyone apply for CBN FX incentive for this or applied for FG loan in this regard?

“Hypocritical unpatriotic elements whose children are hurriedly shipped abroad once they hit their toe are trying hard to control and dictate how the people live their lives in a democracy. Is Govt selling Pizza? Why foam in the mouth over orders from anywhere in world?!”
