Jay Z says 21 Savage’s arrest is an absolute travesty, hires lawyer for him

American Hip-hop mogul, Jay Z, has described the arrest of rapper 21 Savage as “an absolute travesty” and hired a lawyer to help Savage fight against deportation.

In a statement by Jay Z, he said that Savage had applied for a U visa before he was arrested by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Jay Z also who is one of the most acclaimed rappers of all time also said that Savage needs to be reunited with his children immediately.

“The arrest and detention of 21 Savage is an absolute travesty, his U visa petition has been pending for 4 years.

“In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately, #Free21Savage.”

Recall that the Atlanta-based rapper is a British citizen and is being held by US officials due to an expired visa.

His real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph and he moved to America as a child.
