GIRL ON FIRE! Alicia Keys to host 2019 Grammy Awards
15-time Grammy award winner, Alicia Keys, will be hosting this year’s Grammy Awards scheduled for February 10 at LA’s Staples Centre.
The ‘Girl on Fire’ songstress took to her YouTube channel to make the announcement on Tuesday.
Keys, who has won 15 Grammys, posted it alongside the caption: ‘I’m soooo EXCITED to announce that I’ll be hosting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards!!
She said,
“I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I’m going to bring that vibe and energy.
“I’m so excited to be the master of ceremonies on the biggest night in music and celebrate the creativity, power and magic. I’m especially excited for all the incredible women nominated this year! It’s going UP on Feb. 10!”
Keys also posted a behind-the-scenes video announcement on her social media channels.
Keys has served as a judge on NBC’s hit singing competition The Voice since 2011. She has sold more than 30 million records since the release of her 2001 debut album, Songs in A Minor.
