A 21-year-old man is assisting the Police in Malawi with their investigation after he was for allegedly defiling a goat.
In his defence, the accused, Kennedy Kambani, was said to have said he asked for the goat’s permission before proceeding to have sex with it.
According to reports, the goat’s owner had initially thought Kambani was trying to steal the animal, which was part of a flock grazing in a field in Mchinji, Malawi.
The owner, therefore, alerted neighbours to help apprehend him. However, when they got to the field they met the 21-year-old having sex the goat.
Police Inspector Lubrino Kaitano said:
“The owner Pemphero Mwakhulika thought Kambani was stealing it.
“So he alerted the people. When they arrived at the scene they were shocked to see him having sexual intercourse with the goat.”
Kambani was apprehended and taken to a police station and charged with bestiality.
