People have done several things just to be in the prestigious Guinness World Records book, but what Josef Tödtling from Austria did will make you squirm.

Tödtling got in the 2017 Guinness World Records book for the longest distance pulled by a horse while on full body burn. The professional stuntman was dragged over 500m in Teichalm-Fladnitz, Styria, Austria.

The Austrian had an ATV drive next to him during this attempt. The driver of the ATV poured lamp-oil over Josef to keep the flames lit, the Guinness World Record reported on its website recently.

The man who has over 49 movies to his credit travelled the distance completely engulfed in flames.

However he was protected with several layers of clothing and cooling gel, as well as metal shin and elbow pads, vital pieces of equipment, as the specially trained stunt horse kept up a brisk canter for the whole attempt, dragging Josef along on his front at about 35 km/h (21 mph).

“It just feels amazing to be a Guinness World Records holder because there are many people in the world, and I did it best and… that’s pretty cool and amazing,” the daredevil stuntman said.
