Many photos of President Muhammadu Buhari that you see online were taken by Bayo Omoboriowo, the president’s official photographer.

Do you like them? Of course you do. Many of the pictures were taken from angles that make them so lovely that many would assume the pictures were photoshopped. No, they were not. The 29-year-old chemistry graduate only happens to put himself at the right place at the right time to achieve the excellent shots.

He is used to doing that. It was exactly what got him the job in the first place.

“I was taking pictures and when Buhari was casting his vote, I lost my phone worth 120,000 Naira. I said to myself that I came here, nobody is paying me and my phone is gone. With that, I promised myself that I will stay till the end of election which was more than two days,” he told CSNews in a 2015 interview.

“But I said something after the whole program that God must pay me back from all what I am doing here because no man can really pay me for this and that take me to the place of God that people should never take God out of the whole picture of their life.”

When he began sharing the shots from the primary elections and it got a lot of attention on social media, he was contacted by the company that handled the campaign’s social media communications and you know the rest of the story.

Here are 5 of those photos that would definitely win a photo contest if they were entered for one.
