Super Eagles face Guinea-Bissau next
The victory leaves Nigeria with three points after their opening Group L fixture.
The Super Eagles are second in the group behind Guinea-Bissau on goal difference, while Tanzania and Madagascar remain without a point.
Nigeria will travel to face Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday, September 29, while Madagascar will host Tanzania on the same day.
Chelle’s side are without Victor Osimhen for the opening qualifiers after the striker was ruled out through injury.
