AC Milan are moving closer to appointing Portuguese coach Rúben Amorim as their new manager, with the former Sporting CP boss reportedly willing to accept all conditions discussed with the Italian club.

According to The Punch, negotiations between both parties have entered the final stages, with Amorim fully supportive of Milan’s sporting project and awaiting a final decision from the club’s hierarchy.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday that the 41 year old has informed Milan of his readiness to proceed under the terms presented during recent talks.

“Rúben Amorim, ready to accept all conditions discussed with AC Milan to become the new manager. He wants the job and waiting for final green light from Milan,” Romano wrote on X.

Amorim is said to view the opportunity to manage the Serie A giants as an important step in his coaching career and is eager to take charge at the San Siro.

Milan have spent recent weeks evaluating several managerial candidates as they seek a coach capable of leading the club into a new era.

While discussions with Amorim have reportedly progressed positively, the final decision remains in the hands of the club’s leadership.

Club officials are expected to make a definitive decision in the coming days, with Amorim remaining on standby for formal approval before any official announcement is made.
