Nigerian Afrobeats star, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has publicly denied widespread rumours suggesting that his bank accounts were frozen.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the award-winning singer described the claims as completely false and a calculated attempt to tarnish his reputation.

His response follows a viral report alleging that he had been ordered to pay €200,000 in damages, which allegedly led to the freezing of his financial assets.

The unverified story quickly spread across social media platforms and entertainment blogs, raising concerns among fans and industry observers.

“Kizz Daniel has no such case in court, and no accounts have been frozen. We urge fans, partners, and the general public to disregard this fabricated story,” the statement partly read.

Kizz Daniel remains one of Nigeria’s most prominent musical talents, with chart-topping hits such as “Buga”, “Woju”, and “Lie”.

He has established a strong international following and continues to enjoy widespread acclaim across the global music scene.
