Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has advised women to prioritise wearing well-fitted, supportive bras, citing the importance of maintaining personal composure in public spaces.

Henshaw made the comment via her official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, while reacting to a viral video involving Ms. Comfort Emmanson — a passenger who physically assaulted an Ibom Air staff member during a Uyo–Lagos flight on Sunday, August 10, 2025.

The altercation, which escalated into a physical confrontation, left Emmanson’s clothing in disarray, with her chest exposed in front of fellow passengers and crew members. The video has since ignited discussions around passenger conduct and airline safety.

Responding to the incident, Henshaw wrote, “I always advocate for ladies to wear good, supportive bras. It is very important. You never know when a situation like this might occur! This was not good at all… I no even see this video.”

Her remarks come shortly after the Airline Operators of Nigeria imposed a lifetime ban on Emmanson, describing her behaviour as unacceptable. Ibom Air also announced its intention to take legal action, affirming its commitment to safeguarding its personnel against assault.
