Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has called on Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne to join the Reds this summer after news broke that the Belgian midfielder is set to leave City at the end of his contract in June.

De Bruyne, who has enjoyed a successful career at Manchester City, has said he is open to joining another Premier League club—even if it is a rival. He is also attracting interest from clubs in the United States, especially from the Major League Soccer (MLS).

Salah, speaking to Sky Sports, praised De Bruyne’s impact in England and hinted that Liverpool could be his next home.

“I want to tell him congratulations for your career,” Salah said.

“He’s done a phenomenal job at City, and he was great for the league. I really wish him the best… and we have a space for him!”

The comments come shortly after Liverpool were crowned the 2024/2025 Premier League champions, and fans believe the club will strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

De Bruyne, 33, has won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and the UEFA Champions League in 2023 during his time at City.

So far, neither De Bruyne nor Liverpool have confirmed any transfer talks, but Salah’s message has sparked excitement among football lovers, especially Reds supporters who would love to see the midfield star in a Liverpool shirt.

With his contract ending soon, all eyes are now on where De Bruyne will go next.
