Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law, has criticized the music duo Peter and Paul Okoye, formerly known as P-Square, for not supporting President Bola Tinubu’s government.
In an interview with Teju BabyFace, Seyi Law accused the singers of being hypocrites.
According to Seyi Law, the singers were not truthful about supporting the ruling All Progressives Congress administration.
“You knew if APC had brought Osinbajo, you would still have used the badge of Buhari to defeat him,” he said.
Seyi Law recalled how the twin brothers sang and danced during the inauguration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, but have made Tinubu their enemy.
“The same people who are against the APC today once danced on the stage when Buhari was inaugurated. Sometimes these our same colleagues that come out to wave an umbrella today or somehow start to wave cock today or another political party are actually not saints,” he added.
He further stated, “The same people who are against the APC today once danced on the stage when Buhari was inaugurated. ‘E no easy ee ooooo. To sing and to dey dance and the people dey rejoice eee’, they did it for Buhari and today Tinubu is the enemy.” Seyi Law advised the singers to stop being hypocrites, saying they would have supported any APC candidate, including Osinbajo, using Buhari’s badge to defeat him.
