Preparations are in full swing for the Yoruba traditional wedding of Nigerian brand influencer, Priscilla Ojo, and Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, as the couple prepares to host their much-anticipated nuptials in Nigeria.

The wedding, set to take place on Thursday, April 17, 2025, has already generated excitement across social media, particularly following the arrival of Jux’s family in Lagos.

On Wednesday, April 16, actress Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother, shared a cheerful video capturing the grand welcome extended to her Tanzanian in-laws. The footage showed members of the Jux family arriving at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, where they were greeted in traditional Yoruba style.

The Tanzanian guests were seen waving Nigerian flags and dancing enthusiastically to the rhythm of Yoruba talking drums. Their joyous energy set the tone for the upcoming celebration. They were later chauffeured in luxury vehicles to an upscale hotel, where they are expected to stay during the wedding festivities.

In a caption accompanying the video, Iyabo Ojo expressed her happiness and pride in the cultural union:
“We’re honored to welcome our in-laws all the way from Tanzania for the JP2025 wedding celebration! Love knows no distance! East meets West African royalty.”

The couple had earlier confirmed the Nigerian leg of their wedding through a joint social media post, thrilling fans with pre-wedding photos and videos that have continued to flood their timelines.

As the wedding day approaches, anticipation builds for what many are calling a beautiful blend of East and West African cultures, with Priscilla and Juma Jux at the center of a love story that has captured hearts across the continent.
