Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has stirred up a storm on social media with a video in which he dressed as a woman.

The music star, known for drawing inspiration from trending topics, created a song using the viral TikTok sound “Sope Purr.”

To promote the track, Portable shared a video of himself dancing to the song on his official Instagram page, dressed in feminine attire.

In the video, the Zazu star wore a white blouse, a wrapper, gold high-heeled shoes, and a matching gold handbag, aiming to grab the attention of his followers.

Portable’s choice of outfit and his attempt to promote his new music quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions among fans and celebrities alike.

Despite his recent fashion choice, Portable has been vocal about his dislike for crossdressers, often criticizing individuals like popular socialite Bobrisky.

The artist, who also goes by the name Elizabeth Joyce on Instagram, had previously called out Bobrisky on social media. His latest video, however, seemed to contradict his earlier stance, drawing both amusement and criticism from netizens.

The video captured the attention of several notable celebrities, including Tiwa Savage and Nkechi Blessing Sunday, who commented on Portable’s appearance. Tiwa Savage expressed her approval of the handbag, saying, “That purse is fine oooo 😍,” while Nkechi Blessing Sunday responded with, “Oseee Elizabeth Joyce omo mi💥💥 purrrrrrr.” Other followers were amused by his antics, with one user writing, “This boy, you no go kpai person with this your funny doings😂.”

While some fans found humor in Portable’s fashion statement, others labeled him a hypocrite for crossdressing after previously criticizing others for doing the same. Comments like “Hypocrit* the life you want soo bad princess 😆” and “No matter how Masculine or Guy man you be, once you put on the other gender costume, your character go kPurrrr immediately 😂” flooded the comment section.

Portable’s antics did not end there. He previously mocked Bobrisky on social media after the latter won a Best Dressed Female Celebrity award at a movie premiere. Portable posted a video compilation of old photos of Bobrisky when he still dressed as a man, accompanied by one of his songs. Additionally, he shared a cartoon image of himself along with an audio clip of the words he used to taunt Bobrisky in their previous voice message exchange.
