END OF THE ROAD! FSARS arrests notorious armed robbers operating in police uniforms [Photos]
Operatives of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad have arrested a six-man armed robbery and kidnapping gang operating with police coloured Ford ranger jeep and uniforms in Rivers State.
The suspects identified as Tony Raphael, Ifeanyi Okoye, Chigozie Onuigbo, Emeka Nwaiwu, Clark Sunday and Chinedu Isia were said to have been wearing police uniforms to rob unsuspecting victims.
Items recovered from the suspects between June 18 and 19 include; two pump action guns and police protective vests. The suspects also confessed to numerous kidnappings and armed robberies in the state and its environs.
The suspects would be charged to court after the police had concluded their investigations.
