This decision, announced by the National Working Committee under the leadership of Julius Abure, mandates interested aspirants to pay N5 million for Expression of Interest and N25 million for Nomination forms.
In a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, it was conveyed that the NWC made this decision during its meeting on Tuesday in Abuja.
The sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms are scheduled to take place between January 25 and February 11, 2024.
Ifoh’s statement reads, “The NWC approved that the fees for Expression of Interest Form shall be N5,000,000.00, while the Nomination Form shall be N25,000,000.00.” He further highlighted the exemption of female aspirants from paying for the Expression of Interest Form only.

Expressing gratitude to the Independent National Electoral Commission, Ifoh stated, “The NWC appreciated the Independent National Electoral Commission, which carried out its verification duty earlier in the day and for also commending the leadership of the party for complying with INEC’s rules and regulations.”
The NWC conveyed a vote of confidence in its National Chairman, Julius Abure, for effectively steering the affairs of the party and providing it with a proper direction.
