Nigerian singer, Oxlade, has finally broken silence days after his sex tape went viral on social media.
WuzupNigeria reported that a footage of Oxlade having sex with an unidentified lady apparently recorded by the singer was leaked on TikTok last Wednesday.
Amidst mixed reactions on Twitter, Facebook, amongst others, the ‘Away’ singer was subjected to criticism and surprisingly praises from netizens.
However, in a statement on his verified Twitter account late Saturday, Oxlade tendered a public apology and alleged that he was betrayed.
He said, “I am conscious that my business is out in the public and I am not the type to put my personal business out there.
“Betrayals are very real and in the same token, I want to apologize to the woman who did not deserve this type of exposure. And lastly apology to my fans and well-wishers.”
