Okorocha declares for 2023 presidency
A former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has declared his intention to contest for the presidency in 2023.
The lawmaker representing Imo West district in the National Assembly made his intentions known to the President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan.
Lawan read the letter at the commencement of Wednesday’s plenary at the Senate chamber of the assembly in Abuja.
Okorocha becomes the fourth member of the All Progressives Congress to declare for the presidency.
The National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State have also declared for the presidential elections holding next year.
