A pregnant woman and four other passengers have been reported dead in a ghastly auto accident involving a truck and commercial motorcycle along LASPOTECH Road, Ikorodu.
An eyewitness who spoke with WuzupNigeria disclosed that a truck that has seemingly lost control suddenly rammed into an oncoming tricycle popularly called ‘Keke.’
The source who pleaded anonymity added that the keke was coming from the first gate axis of Ikorodu when the truck rammed into it alongside its passengers.
As of the time of this report, the truck driver had reportedly fled the scene of the accident to avoid the wrath of a mob.
“The driver decided to manage it and he totally lost control, trapping a Keke Napep who was coming from first gate axis of Ikorodu.
“The Keke had four people in it including a pregnant woman and another passerby”
“Area boys mounted the street and had been throwing stones at any trailer on sight,” the witness said.
Meanwhile, policemen drafted to restore order in the area were said to have taken the number plate of the truck to trace the owner as well as apprehend the fleeing truck driver.
